About the Practice
My name is Astrid Vendo (née Kosmider). As a state-recognized Naturopathic Practitioner (Heilpraktikerin) and certified Liebscher & Bracht Pain Therapist, I accompany you on your path to greater well-being at my practice in Leimen.

Finding your own balance is often not easy. My wish is to support people in rediscovering their inner strength and leaving the stress of everyday life behind. Through my many years of experience as a therapist, I have learned that we need diverse methods to return to our equilibrium.

My Approach and Background
My journey into the world of movement began at the age of four with children’s dance classes. Ballet, gymnastics, and jazz dance soon followed. At 14, I discovered Latin American dances – my love for salsa, in particular, has stayed with me ever since.
After the birth of my children (1997 and 1999), my focus shifted more towards holistic training at the gym. There, I discovered yoga and Pilates and deepened my understanding of functional movement and body awareness. After completing my initial instructor certification, I began teaching my own classes in 2002 and started sharing my knowledge.
In 2012, I also dedicated myself to the intensive study of naturopathy. This knowledge significantly complements my work today. I combine movement, bodywork, and various therapeutic approaches into a holistic concept.
For me, movement is far more than just training – it is a source of energy, balance, and daily motivation. This enthusiasm and experience inform my work with people.
In my work, I combine classical naturopathy with modern forms of therapy:
- Holistic Therapy: I utilize methods such as Liebscher & Bracht pain therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Bowen Therapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to release blockages and activate the flow of energy.
- Individual Guidance: As a certified Personal Trainer, I complement my treatments with targeted courses in the areas of movement, nutrition, and relaxation.
- Systemic Counseling: I support you in adopting new perspectives and addressing change processes within professional or private contexts.
My goal is for you to feel well from head to toe and to be able to pursue your personal goals with renewed strength.
Billing is based on the German fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH). Treatment costs are generally covered by private health insurance and may be eligible for reimbursement. In case of doubt, you should clarify coverage with your insurance provider.
